Chain 26
Row 1: SC in 2nd chain from the hook, *chain 6, skip the next 3 chains, sc in the next chain,* repeat from *to* across to the last 4 chains, chain 3, dc in the last chain to form last loop. (6 loops) Turn
Row 2: Chain 1, *sc in the first loop, work 8 dc in the next loop, sc in the next loop, chain 6, sc in the next loop, work 8 dc in the next loop, sc in the last loop. (2 – 8 dc groups) Turn
NOTE: Loop a short piece of yarn around any stitch to indicate last row as right side.
Row 3: Chain 1, sc in the first sc, chain 6, skip next dc, sc in next dc, chain 6, skip the next 4 dc, sc in the next dc, chain 6, sc in the next loop, chain 6, skip the next dc, sc in the next dc, chain 6, skip the next 4 dc, sc in the next dc, chain 3, dc in the last sc to form the last loop. (6 loops) Turn
Repeat Rows 2 & 3 for pattern until piece measures desired length; do not fasten off.
Edging
Row 1: Chain 2, hdc in each stitch across to chain, work 6 hdc in the chain, hdc across. Turn
Row 2: Chain 2, hdc in each stitch across.
Fasten off and sew in ends.
