Instructions
Chain 6 Row 1: DC in the 4th chain from the hook and in next 2 chains. Turn (1 block made) Row 2: Chain 6, dc in the 4th chain from the hook and in the next 2 chains, work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) all in the chain 3 space of previous row. Turn (2 blocks made) Row 3: Chain 6, dc in the 4th chain from the hook and in the next 2 chains, work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) in the chain 3 space of the previous row, repeat 2 times. Turn (3 blocks made) Row 4: Chain 6, dc in the 4th chain from the hook and in the next 2 chains, work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) in the next chain 3 space of the previous row, repeat 3 times. Turn (4 blocks made) Row 5: Chain 6, dc in the 4th chain from the hook and in the next 2 chains, work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) in the next chain 3 space of the previous row, repeat 4 times. Turn (7 blocks made) Row 8: Chain 6, dc in the 4th chain from the hook and in the next 2 chains, work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) in the next chain 3 space of the previous row, repeat 8 times. Turn (9 blocks made) Row 9: Chain 6, dc in the 4th chain from the hook and in the next 2 chains, work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) in the next chain 3 space of the previous row, repeat 9 times. Turn (10 blocks made) Row 10: Chain 6, dc in the 4th chain from the hook and in the next 2 chains, work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) in the next chain 3 space of the previous row, repeat 10 times. Turn (11 blocks made) Row 11: Chain 6, dc in the 4th chain from the hook and in the next 2 chains, work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) in the next chain 3 space of the previous row, repeat 11 times. Turn (12 blocks made) Row 12: Chain 6, dc in the 4th chain from the hook and in the next 2 chains, work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) in the next chain 3 space of the previous row, repeat 12 times. Turn (13 blocks made) Row 13: Chain 6, dc in the 4th chain from the hook and in the next 2 chains, work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) in the next chain 3 space of the previous row, repeat 13 times. Turn (15 blocks made) Row 15: Chain 6, dc in the 4th chain from the hook and in the next 2 chains, work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) in the next chain 3 space of the previous row, repeat 15 times. Turn (16 blocks made) Row 16: Chain 6, dc in the 4th chain from the hook and in the next 2 chains, work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) in the next chain 3 space of the previous row, repeat 16 times. Turn (17 blocks made) Start decreasing Row 17: Slip stitch across the first 3 dc, * work (slip stitch, ch 3, 3 dc) all in the next chain 3 space of the previous row, repeat from * to the last chain 3 space; slip stitch in the last space. Turn, DO NOT make a block in the last space. (16 blocks made) Repeat Row 17 until there is 1 block left. Work last block. Fasten Off and weave in ends. Fold piece in half. From the outside edge measure in 3 inches on each side. Sew the 3 inches together on each side. This forms the sleeves. Trim Round 1: work 126 hdc evenly spaced around the body edge (63 between under arm seams) Round 2: Chain 1, work 2 hdc in the same stitch, * hdc in the next stitch, work 2 hdc in the next stitch, * repeat from * to * around; join with a slip stitch in the 1st hdc. (189 hdc) Round 3: Chain 1, dc in the same stitch and in each stitch around; join with a slip stitch in the 1st dc. (189 dc) Round 4: Chain 1 tr in the same stitch and in each stitch around; join with a slip stitch in the 1st tr.
