Christmas Ornament Hotpad Tutorial | Free Crochet Pattern | American Crochet @americancrochet.com #freecrochetpattern Batting Ornament Cut 2 thickness of cotton batting the shape of the Ornament.  With needle and matching sewing thread secure batting to the wrong side of one section of the ornament.  Place other side of ornament on top of the batting with right side out and pin together to hold in place while sewing.  Use the crab stitch to join the two together. Make sure the stitches match as you work the crab stitch.  I used white yarn to work the crab stitch.
