Diamond Seed Stitch Dishcloth ~
Crochet Pattern
This Diamond Stitch Dishcloth/Washcloth has a beautiful design and texture. The texture of the Luna yarn gives for a unique feel, rough yet soft, which will be great for cleaning up in the kitchen or washing your face. The diamond design and the seed stitch work great together in this design. Make several to coordinate with the color scheme and place them in your bathroom or guest bathroom. This cloth also works great in the kitchen for doing dishes or wiping counters. The Diamond Seed Stitch Dishcloth will also make a great hostess gift, addition to a spa basket, or for a charity. Enjoy!

Notes – The Diamond Stitch looks hard – but once you have worked a few repeats, you’ll see how it’s done and you’ll soon be working without referring to the pattern notes. It is formed by positioning the Front Post Treble Crochet stitches on the front side of project.
Chain 1 at beginning of rows counts as the first single crochet of the row.
First 4 stitches and last 4 stitches forms the side borders of each row.
Special Stitches
Front Post Treble Crochet (abbreviated FPtr): yarn over twice, insert hook from front to back around post of stitch indicated, yarn over and pull up a loop (4 loops on hook), (yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook) 3 times.
Seed Stitch – work a single crochet and a double crochet in the indicated stitch, skip the next stitch.
