Grey Skies Scarf
By Mistie Bush
I am always hearing and reading how there aren’t enough crochet patterns for guys. Having that in mind and five guys in my life I decided to design this Grey Skies Scarf for the Holiday Stashdown CAL.
Skill Level: Easy
Size: One Size
Yarn: Lion Brand Da Vinci (165 yds) any bulky #6 yarn will work – you may also use a worsted weight yarn. The project will not be as bulky though.
Crochet Hook: N (10.00 mm)
Gauge: Not important
60×6 inches laying flat
Ch/Chs = Chain/Chains
Hdc = Half Double Crochet
Rep = Repeat
Sc = Single Crochet
Sl St = Slip Stitch
St/Sts = Stitch/Stitches
HERE is a tutorial on how to Double Crochet between stitches.
Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across. (10hdc)
Rnd 2: Ch 2, turn, * hdc in between 2 hdc in previous row; repeat from * across. (10hdc)
Rep Row 2 until desired length.
Weave in ends.
Happy Hooking and Enjoy!
