Last Minute Open Weave Belt

The Last Minute Open Weave Belt is a great addition to the series. It is easy to make and takes very little yarn and time. I used Juniper Moon Farm “Zooey” yarn which I bought at my LYS and a Brittany G hook.
Yarn: Juniper Moon Farm Zooey 60% cotton and 40% linen, 3.52 oz/100 g/284 yds/260 m, Color 05
Hook: G Hook
42 inches X 2 ½ inches without tassels
Ch/chs = chain/chains
Dc = double crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Sc = single crochet
Sl st = slip stitch
Sp/sps = space/spaces
St/sts = stitch/stitches
Ch 3 at beginning of rows counts as first dc throughout pattern
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and across ch 3 turn (146 sc)
Row 2: dc in next 3 sts, * sk 2 sts, 5 dc in next st, ch 2, sk 3 sts, dc in next 4 sts * repeat from * to * across; ch 3 turn. Ending with 4 dc ch 3 turn (14m fans, 14 ch 2 sps, 15 groups of 4 dc)
Row 3: dc in next 3 dc, * sk ch 2, 5 dc in next dc, ch 2, sk 4 dcs, dc in next 4 dc *, repeat from * to * across ch 3 turn
Row 4: repeat row 3 ch 2
Row 5: hdc in each st and ch across
Fasten off and weave in ends
Tassels Cut 36 (6 for each tassel) 10 inch pieces of yarn place 3 tassels on each end one in each corner and one in the center
