Between Double Crochet Square

I really like this stitch pattern because it works up quickly and gives your project a nice texture. Recently I decided to start making more washcloths and other household items to add to my crochet library, adding to my patterns on the site, and giving them as gifts.
Level of Difficulty – Beginner
Yarn – Sugar n’ Cream Cotton ~ 1 ball
Hooks and Notions – Size Hook: H (5mm) purchase here
Measurement – 12 inches long, 11 inches wide
Ch = chain
Dc = Double Crochet
Row 1: Dc in 4th chain from hook and acros. Turn (28 dc)
Row 2: CH 3, Dc in between the next 2 dc in previous row and in between each dc across; ending with a dc in top of chain 3. Turn (28 hdc)
Row 3 – 21: CH 3, repeat row 2. Turn (28 hdc)
Row 22: CH 1, sc in each stitch across. (28 sc)
Fasten off & weave in ends!
