Shells Up the Trellis Soap Cozy

I designed the Shells on a Trellis Soap Cozy for my organization Crafting A Rainbow Of Hope!
Yarn: Handicrafter Cotton Yarn, #4, 12 oz/340 g/608 yds/556 m, (uses small amount approximately 50 to 75 yds) Potpourri Ombre
Hook: Furls Odyssey H
Laying flat Height 5 inches to top of shell, Width 5 inches
Not important for this project
Ch/chs = chain/chains
Dc = double crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Sc = single crochet
Sl st = slip stitch
Sp/sps = space/spaces
St/sts = stitch/stitches
Shell – In space indicated work (4 dc, ch 2, dc) shell made
Ch 1 at beginning of rounds does not count as a stitch
This pattern is worked in the rnd by joining with a sl st. Rnds 5 – 10 is also turned at the end of each rnd.
Rnd 1: hdc in 2nd ch from hook and across to last ch, 3 hdc in last ch, hdc up unworked side of beginning ch, hdc in same st as first hdc, join with sl st in top of turning ch at beginning (28 hdc)
Rnd 2: ch 1 (does not count here and throughout) hdc in same st as join, 3 hdc in next st, hdc in next 12 sts, 3 hdc in next st, hdc in remaining sts; join with sl st in first hdc (32 hdc)
Rnd 3: ch 1, hdc in same st as join, and each st around; join with sl st in first hdc (32hdc)
Rnd 4: ch 1, dc in same st as ch 1, dc next 2 st, sk next st, * shell next st, sk 3 sts, dc next 3 sts, sk 1 st *, repeat from * to * around; join with sl st in top of dc (4 shells, 4 sets of dcs)
Rnd 5: ch 1 turn, Work * shell in ch 2 sp of previous rnd, sk 4 dc of shell, dc next 3 dc *, repeat from * to * around ending with dc in last st; join with sl st in top of dc (4 shells, 4 sets of dcs)
Rnds 6 ch 1 turn, dc in same st as ch 1, dc next 2 st, * shell in ch 2 sp, ks 4 dc of shell, dc next 3 dc *, repeat from * to * around; join with sl st in top of dc (4 shells, 4 sets of dcs)
Rnd 7– 8: Repeat Rnds 5 & 6
Fasten off and weave in ends
Ch 50 Fasten off Weave in and out of shells and dc on Rnd 7
Fasten off weave in ends
