Here is another addition to the Last Minute Open Weave Series. This top is cute and will make a great addition to any spring wardrobe. This top can be worn with skirt/slacks and jacket for office or jeans for the casual look. It is simple and easy to make using Baby Bee Lambkin Baby Boucle, a Brittany I (6.0 mm) hook, and basic stitches.
Yarn: Baby Bee, Lambkins Baby Boucle, (Hobby Lobby), #4 Medium Weight, 5 ozs/230 yds/140 gms/210 m/ color #1120 Sweet
Hook: Brittany I/10 (6.0 mm)
Laying flat width 18 inches, length 19 inches
Not important for this project
Ch/chs = chain/chains
Dc = double crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Sc = single crochet
Sl st = slip stitch
Sp/sps = space/spaces
St/sts = stitch/stitches
Shell = 5 dc in stitch indicated
Ch 3 at beginning of row counts as first DC
Multiples of 10 + 4
Row 1: 1 hdc in 2nd ch from hook. and in each ch across (63 hdc) Ch 3 turn.
Row 2: 1 dc in each of next 3 sc. * sk next 2 sc, 5 dc in next sc, ch 2, sk next 3 sc, 1 dc in each of next 4 sc * Repeat * to * across ending with 1 dc in last 4 sts (5 pattern repeats) Ch 3 turn.
Row 3: 1 dc in each of next 3 dc * skip next ch 2 sp, 5 dc in next dc, ch 2 skip next 4 dc, 1 dc in each of next 4 dc * Ch 3 turn.
Row 4-30: Repeat Row 3 (or until desired length)
At end of Row 30 fasten off leaving a long tail for sew shoulder seam to other side when completed.
