HOOKS & NOTIONS
K or 6.5 MM
Ch – Chain
Dc – Double Crochet
Sp – Space(s)
St – Stitch(s)
YO – Yarn Over
Rep – Repeat
Patt – Pattern
This stitch is worked just like an ordinary double crochet, but stitches are placed in between the stitches rather than worked into the tops of them (expect for the end sts, which are worked normally to give a smooth, even edge).

Row 1 (right side): DC in 3rd ch from hook and in each across (11 sts); turn.
Row 2: Ch-2 (counts as a dc), * 1 dc in between 2 dc in previous row; rep from * across, ending 1 dc in beg ch-2, turn.
Row 3 – 37: Rep row 2 for patt
Fasten off and sew in ends.
