Amazing yarn creates magical tweedy stripes through the project. This project is an easy one to carry with you as once it is started it is a repeat of rows 2 and 3. The Olive Medley gives a very unique color sequence through the scarf.
Yarn: Lion Brand Amazing #4 Worsted Weight, 1.75 ozs/147 yds/50 g/135 m, 2 skeins Olive Medley #217
Hook: Brittany J/10 (6 mm)
Laying flat 6 ½ inches X 50 inches
Not important for this project
Ch/chs = chain/chains
Dc = double crochet
Sc = single crochet
Sl st = slip stitch
Sp/sps = space/spaces
St/sts = stitch/stitches
V-stitch (V-st): In specified st work (dc, ch 1, dc): V-st made.
Chain multiples: 3
ch 3 ~ counts as a dc on following row
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 1, sk next ch, sc in next ch; * ch 3, sk 2 chs, sc in next ch * ; repeat from * to * across to last 2 chs; ch 1, sk next ch, sc in last ch; ch 3 (counts as a dc on following row), turn.
Row 2: V-st in each sc across to last sc; dc in last sc; ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Sc in first dc, ch 1, sc in ch-1 sp of next V-st, * ch 3, sc in ch-1 sp of next V-st *; rep from * to * across to turning ch-3, ch 1, sc in 3rd ch of turning ch-3; ch 3, turn.
Repeat Rows 2 and 3 for pattern 50 inches or desired length.
