Windows on Landmark Boulevard Cowl

This cowl has open windows in every row. It is super easy to make using Red Heart Boutique Boulevard #7 Jumbo and a Q wooden hook. The Boulevard yarn is a super bulky but lightweight. It has a unique feel to it and is soft and easy to work with. This cowl is worked using chains and double crochet.
Yarn: Red Heart Boutique Boulevard #7, 4 oz/113 g/59 yds/53 m 2 balls of Landmark
Hook: Wooden Q
Lying flat width 9 inches length 26 inches
Ch/chs = chain/chains
Dc = double crochet
Sl st = slip stitch
Sp/sps = space/spaces
St/sts = stitch/stitches
Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook dc in next ch,* ch 2, sk 2 sts, dc next 2 sts * repeat from * to *, ch 3 turn (4 sets 2 dc, 3 windows, 16 sts total)
Row 2: sk dc, * dc in next 2 chs, ch 2, sk 2 dc * repeat from * to * 2 time, ch 1 sk 1 dc, dc in last st, ch3 turn (3 sets 2 dc, 1 dc each end, 4 windows, 16 sts total)
Row 3 – 41: repeat rows 1 and 2
Fasten off and sew together to form cowl, and weave in ends.
