Level of Difficulty – Intermediate
Yarn – Bulky #5 roughly 75 yards
Hook and Notions – Size Hook: H (5.0mm)
Measurement – Laying flat width 3 inches, length 24 inches
Gauge – Not important
BLO = back loop only
Ch = chain
Dc = double crochet
Fp = front post
Hdc = half double crochet
Sc = single crochet
Trc = treble crochet
Notes – Chain multiples of 2
Always skip the stitch behind the FP trc.
Chain 1 at beginning of rounds does not count as a stitch.
Round 1: CH 1, sc in same stitch and sc in each chain around; join with slip stitch in top of first sc. (130 sc)
Rounds 2 & 3: CH 1, sc in same stitch and sc in stitch around; join with slip stitch in top of first sc. (130 sc)
Round 4: (Right Side) CH 1, sc in first sc, * FPTRC in the next sc 2 rows below, skip the sc after the last sc made, sc in the next stitch, repeat from the * around, ending with sc in the last sc; join with slip stitch in top of first sc. (65 FP Trc, 65 sc)
Round 4-8: Repeat Rounds 3 and 4 five more times, ending with Round 3 (130 sts)
Fasten off and weave in ends
