I want to share with you 6 Memory Blankets and 8 Preemie/Newborn beanies I made over the last few weeks! You may wonder how I finished blankets,,, Well ~ A Memory Blanket is a small blanket 12″ or 15″ .. These blankets are being donated to our July ELK Studio From The Heart Charity Drive. As most of you know, I have been working with Kathy from ELK Studio Handcrafted Crochet Designs for a few months now with the charity she put together. Each month we donate to a designated charity. Anyone can join us and if you are interested just send Kathy or myself an email! For July, we are donating to Project Sweet Peas, Project Sweet Peas is a national non-profit organization coordinated by volunteers, who through personal experience have become passionate about providing support to families with infants in intensive care and to those who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss. Maria from Pattern Paradise has organized this month’s drive and I have decided to donate these sweet little blankets and beanies…
These Memory Blankets are a simple Corner to Corner Afghan and each measures approximately 15″.
If you have not tried this type of afghan, they are all the rage and are easy to make… Red Heart Yarns has a fantastic pattern you can follow… Click here for the details! I have made seven items using this type of pattern and it is addicting!!
