Loden Viz Scarf

This scarf is worked length ways with the V stitch using Lion Brand Wool Ease which is very soft, and easy to work with. It has a light airy texture to it, yet will keep you warm on cool nights.
Yarn: Lion Brand Wool Ease #4 Medium Worsted Weight, (80% Acrylic,20% Wool), 3 oz/85 g/197 yds/180 m 2 Skeins #177 Loden
Hook: Brittany 6mm (J)
Laying flat Approximately Length 60 inches, Width 8 inches
Ch/chs = chain/chains
Dc = double crochet
Sc = single crochet
Sk = skip
Sl st = slip stitch
Sp/sps = space/spaces
St/sts = stitch/stitches
V-st = V stitch
V-stitch (V-st): In specified st work (dc, ch 1, dc): V-st made.
Chain multiple: 2 + 1
ch 3 at beginning of rows counts as a dc
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each rem ch; turn.
Row 2: ch 3 (counts as a dc on following row) * sk next sc, V-st in next sc; rep from * across to last 2 sc, sk next sc, dc in last sc; turn.
Row 3: ch 3 * V-st in ch-1 sp of next V-st; rep from * to turning ch-3, dc in 3rd ch of turning ch-3; turn.
Repeat Row 3 for pattern until 8 inches for scarf or to desired width.
