Happy Hump Day!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month ~ wear PINK Month
(Hearts) In loving memory of Mary Hyde ~ she passed away with Breast Cancer on December 9, 2012. There is not a day that goes by that you are not thought of and deeply missed. (Hearts)
Don’t forget: There are so many different ways to help support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I strongly suggest checking with your local hospitals and churches to see how you can help out.
Since my husband was going to be working out of town my youngest son and I decided we would go with him. My thought was~I’ll get a lot of crocheting done will heading to our destination, while we are there, and on the way back home. Well I did crochet some going to our destination but not as much as I thought I would. I ended up looking for new website names. Why? I’m really not sure. Lol Oh what a surprise I have for you! I am getting to do something pretty cool…can’t wait to share it. Once we got settled at the Hotel I crocheted some more but ended up working on my website. Before going to sleep I thought ~ok, in the morning I will get a little crochet time in before getting things to go. Well guess what?? I did not get any crochet time in before leaving the Hotel. 🙁 It’s ok I’m getting to hang out with my little man and I know the crochet time will happen later on today. I’m sitting at Paradise Bakery & Cafe while telling you about my trip. The Paradise Bakery & Cafe` has the best cookies!!! It’s probably a good thing there isn’t one in Houston. 🙂
Yay! My “Fingerless Arm Warmers” that I posted on Crochet Happy last week earned a spot in the Featured Crochet Awesomeness section!!
Stop by www.crochethappy.com this week click on the “Awesomeness Crochet” (orange button) then click on my “Fingerless Arm Warmers” or “Ripple Stitch Boot Cuffs”. The more clicks I get the better American Crochet’s chances are of being Featured!!
