Scarlett Beauty Anklet

This ankle bracelet is quick and easy to make. It can be made in colors to match outfits. It will look great with sandals or flip flops and shorts; or with skirt and heels for the spring and summer. It is worked using Aunt Lydia’s #1 Super Fine thread which can be purchased from Red Heart or JoAnn’s.
Yarn: Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread Fashion 3 color Scarlett
1 Elongated 4 mm glass bead (used as fastener)
11 Round 4 mm glass beads
Lying flat 9” X 1”
Ch/chs = chain/chains
Dc = double crochet
Sc = single crochet
Sk = skip
Sl st = slip stitch
Sp/sps = space/spaces
St/sts = stitch/stitches
DC Crossover or X stitch – Sk 2 stitches, dc in next st, ch 1, (working in front of previous dc) dc in 1st sk st
On the #3 thread string 11 round beads then the elongated bead as it will be used first. Push beads down until you are ready for them.
Ch 36, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across ch 1 turn (35 sc)
Row 1: Pull up elongated bead and ch 1, dc in next st, * pull up bead ch 1, work X st *, repeat * to * 10 times ch 1 turn (10 X’s and 11 bead ch 1 sps)
Row 2: Sc in each st and ch 1 sp across. (35 sc)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
