This Textured Scrubbie comes in handy when cleaning up the kitchen and/or bathroom. It works up really quickly and uses very little yarn. I used Red Heart Yarn Scrubby and a Brittany H hook.
Yarn: Red Heart Scrubby Duckie – Worsted Weight #4, 3.5oz, 92 yds
Hook: Brittany H
Lying flat 5”
Ch/chs = chain/chains
Dc = double crochet
Sl st = slip stitch
Sp/sps = space/spaces
St/sts = stitch/stitches
Chain 3 at beginning of rounds does count as a stitch.
Ch 3, 11 dc in 2nd ch from hook, join with a sl st in top of beginning ch 3 (11dc)
Rnd 1: ch 3, (counts as first dc) dc in same st as ch 3, 2 dc in next st and in each st around, join with sl st in top of beginning ch 3 (22 dc)
Rnd 2: ch 4, (counts as your first dc and ch 1); * dc in next st, ch 1 * repeat from * to * join with sl st in top of beginning ch 3 (22 dc & 22 ch1)
Rnd 3: ch 3, dc in each st and ch 1 space around, join with sl st in top of beginning ch 3 (44 dc)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Happy Hooking and Enjoy!
