Now, it’s time to start adding the edging of the afghan! There are several different edgings that can be put on the afghan. You may already have a started adding your edging or at the very least have your edging in mind. If you don’t that’s okay too. I suggest you pick an edging that is simple and will go lovely against your squares.
If this is your first time joining the 2015 American Crochet CAL, please CLICK on the image below to read how it works! To recap, every 2 weeks I’ll share a free 12” crochet square pattern, we’ll make them together. All the patterns will be free for the entire year, and we’ll get to check out an assortment of amazing crochet blogs along the way!
I am currently a little behind on finishing my afghan but hope to have it finished with photos to share soon. I plan to use just a simple edging around it. Maybe a sc or hdc around it and then add a crab stitch row.
I hope you will show your finished afghans on Social Media and will join me in 2016 for more Crochet Alongs.
Thanks for crocheting~along with me!
