REQUIREMENTS
Level of Difficulty Advanced Beginner Yarn You may use any size yarn and the recommended hook size. However, depending on the bulkiness of the yarn will depend on how defined your stitches are. Hooks and Notions Hooks: H (5mm) & I (5.5mm), scissors and blunt yarn needle Measurement 20-inches wide and 60-ISH inches long – using CupCake yarn. Gauge Mine is 5 hdc + 4 rows = 2-inches (beginning of shawl) using the Lion Brand CupCake yarn Abbreviations – US Terminology Ch/chs = chain/chains Sc = single crochet Hdc = half double crochet Dc = double crochet St(s) = stitch(s)

Turn (79 sc) Row 87: Chain 1, dc in same stitch, *work (hdc, dc) in next stitch, skip the next stitch* repeat from *to* across, dc in last stitch. Turn (38 (hdc, dc sets), 2 dc) Row 88: Chain 1, dc in same stitch, work *(hdc, dc) in next dc, skip next hdc,* repeat from *to* across, dc in last stitch. Turn (38 (hdc, dc sets), 2 dc) Rows 89-98: Repeat Rows 87 and 88 Rows 99-102: Chain 1, hdc in each stitch across.
