I would love to see your projects in my Facebook Group and/or on Instagram!

On one of my trips to visit our family I stopped by the LYS in Texarkana, Texas and found this Flutterby yarn. When I touched it, I knew it would make a great baby blanket. It’s soft as feathers or clouds fluttering along. No boy blankets needed at the time but I bought it anyway.

Here are some more of my baby blanket crochet patterns:

Then an order came in and I was able to pull this yummy yarn from my stash! Flutterby is a chunky, super soft polyester yarn and works up very quickly. It makes for a great baby shower gift or for those precious little ones in the NICU. Enjoy!

Baby blankets were my top crochet item to make when I first started out many years ago. Not only was it my favorite thing to crochet but it was my number one item for purchase. The joy of making something for a little one just melted my heart. As to this day I still enjoy making and designing baby blankets. There is just something about the creative process and knowing it is going to a new mom and her baby. Just think about all the snuggles that will happen with each baby blanket you make.
