I designed this 2019 Winter Wonder Blanket according to what my youngest son wanted. He loves it when I make him a blanket and he loves it even more when he gets to help create it. I enjoy getting his intake on how things should be, for example the color layout, if he wants in all one design or mix it up, that sort of thing. Enjoy!

Welcome to our first 2019 Crochet Along! This Crochet Along is more of a stash busting kinda CAL.
This Crochet Along is going to be a little different than the ones we have done in the past. We are going to crochet this blanket together and share our progress along the way. I am excited to see the different color variations that are chosen.
Now lets gather our materials. 🙂
Basic Material Requirements

This is only a suggestion and you may use any yarn and hook. Just keep in mind your gauge should still be the same as mine.

I use US Crochet stitch terminology
* Tension is necessary for this project to be perfect. However, the same type of yarn and hook throughout the project is recommended. *
I used the stitch markers at the end of the rows when decreasing
You can make this blanket bigger by repeating Rows. That will also require you to have more yarn.
*If you want your blanket to measure 60×60 inches (Adult Size) then you will need approximately 3450 yds of worsted weight yarn otherwise you will need less yarn. It all depends on how big you want your blanket to be.*
