The Carolina Bella Shawl is the perfect piece for anyone who loves an easy crochet shawl that still looks sophisticated. This triangle shawl is worked in just single and double crochet, so it’s approachable for intermediate beginners while looking elegant and modern. It works up quickly, drapes beautifully, and can be worn loose over the shoulders as a cozy wrap or tied bandana-style for a chic everyday look β timeless style and comfort in a project that’s as enjoyable to make as it is to wear.
This beautiful shawl was designed by my daughter, Gracie. π

About the Carolina Bella Shawl
Gracie designed this shawl in a light (#3) weight yarn for a piece that feels airy but still warm β the kind of layer you reach for from spring’s cool mornings to fall’s chilly evenings. The sample was made in Cascade Heritage Silk (a soft merino-and-silk blend with a lovely sheen) and Soft & Sleek, but it’s just as beautiful in a Soft & Sleek DK or Adriafil Kimera cotton. Choose your colors and yarn based on the look and feel you want, and let the simple triangle shape do the rest.
