I have made several to use in my home and camper, along with gifting them to family and friends. Have I mentioned I enjoy making dishcloths for my home? I much rather make mine than buy them at store.

Egglicious Dishcloth ~ Free Crochet Pattern
Level of Difficulty
Beginner/Intermediate
Yarn
Lion Brand Kitchen Cotton, #4 worsted weight; color A (Kiwi), B (Blue Ice) & Color C (Bubblegum), 10 yards (roughly)
Hook and Notions
Size Hook: I (5.5 mm), scissors and blunt needle
Measurement
7 inches wide & 11 inches long
Gauge
7 stitches + 5 rows = 2 inches
Notes
Chain 1 at beginning of row does not count unless otherwise stated.
Special Stitches
Hdc dec (Half Double Crochet Decrease):
Yarn over, insert hook in indicated stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over, insert hook into the next stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through all 5 loops on the hook.
Crab Stitch (Reverse Single Crochet):
This stitch is distinctive; it looks ridged and makes a nice finishing option for crochet items. It looks great when worked as an edging using a contrasting or coordinating color.
This is worked from left to right (or opposite direction) With right side of project facing you Chain 1, * insert hook into next stitch to right, yarn over and pull through, (2 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through both loops. * Continue working * to * until you have reached the end of project. Slip stitch into first chain 1 and fasten off, weave in ends.

Row 2: Chain 1 (does not count), work 2 hdc in same stitch, hdc in the next 2 stitches, work 2 hdc in the last stitch. Turn (6 hdc)
Row 3: Chain 1 (See Notes), work 2 hdc in same stitch, hdc in next 4 stitches, work 2 hdc in last stitch. Turn (8 hdc)
Row 4: Chain 1 (See Notes), work 2 hdc in same stitch, hdc in next 6 stitches, work 2 hdc in the last stitch. Turn (10 hdc)
Row 5: Chain 1 (See Notes), hdc in same stitch and in each stitch across. (10 hdc)
Row 6: Repeat Row 5
Row 7: Repeat Row 4 (12 hdc) Drop Color A; attach Color B
Row 8: Chain 1 (See Notes), work 2 hdc in same stitch, hdc the next 10 stitches, work 2 hdc in the last stitch. Turn (14 hdc)
Row 9: Chain 1 (See Notes), hdc in same stitch and in each stitch across. Turn (14 hdc) Fasten Off Color B; Pick up Color A
Row 10: Chain 1 (See Notes), hdc in same stitch and in each stitch across. Turn (14 hdc)
Row 11: Chain 1 (See Notes), work 2 hdc in same stitch, hdc in next 12 stitches, work 2 hdc in last stitch. Turn (16 hdc)

Row 13: Chain 1 (See Notes), work 2 hdc in same stitch, hdc in next 16 stitches, work 2 hdc in last stitch. Turn (20 hdc)
Row 14: Chain 1 (See Notes), hdc in same stitch and in each stitch across. Turn (20 hdc)
Rows 15-20: Repeat Row 14 Drop Color A; attach Color C
Row 21: Chain 1 (See Notes), hdc in same stitch and in each stitch across. Turn (20 hdc)
Row 22: Repeat Row 21 (20hdc) Fasten Off Color C. Pick up Color A
Row 23: Chain 1 (See Notes), hdc in same stitch and in each stitch across. Turn (20 hdc)
Row 24: Chain 1 (See Notes), hdc dec over same stitch and next stitch, hdc in next 16stitches, hdc dec over last 2 stitches. Turn (18 hdc)
Row 25: Chain 1 (See Notes), hdc in same stitch and in each stitch across. Turn (18 hdc)
Rows 26-32: Repeat Row 24 (ending with 4 hdc)
Row 33: Chain 1 (See Notes), sc in same stitch, hdc in next 3 stitches, sc in next stitch, slip stitch in the last stitch. Turn (4 stitches)
Edging
Work the Crab Stitch around the egg.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
