Abbreviations
Ch/chs = chain/chains
Dc = double crochet
FPdc = front post double crochet
BPdc = back post double crochet
Sp = space
dctog = double crochet together
BLO = back loop only

Special Stitches
V Stitch – Work (dc, ch 1, dc) in indicated stitch
BPDC – back post double crochet
Step 1: yarn over on hook.
Step 2: Insert hook into hole next to the post of the next stitch, on the “hook side” from back to front
Step 3: Bring the hook back to the back of the fabric around the post, to the hole farther from the hook.
Step 4: yarn over and draw through a loop, bringing it through both sides of the fabric. (3 loops on hook)
Step 5: yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook. (2 loops remaining on hook)
Step 6: yarn over and draw through remaining 2 loops on hook.

FPDC – front post double crochet
Insert your hook into the front of your work, behind the indicated stitch, and then through your work such that your hook is now at the front of your work again. Pull through final 2 loops on your hook.

Working With A

Ch 4, slip stitch to for a ring
Round 1: Chain 4, * dc, ch 1,
* repeat around 11 more times;
join with a slip stitch into 3rd chain of chain 3. (12 dc, 12 ch 1 spaces)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Join B with a Slip Stitch into any Chain 1 space

Round 2: Sc in same space as join, chain 2,
* skip next dc, sc in next chain 1 space, chain 2, *
repeat from * to * around;
join with a slip stitch in 1st sc. (12 sc, 12 ch 2 sp)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Join C with a slip stitch in any chain 2 space

Round 3: Chain 1 (See Notes),
work 3 dc in chain 2 space,
* chain 3, skip next (sc, ch 2, sc),
work 3 dc in next chain 2 space, *
repeat from * to * around; join with a slip stitch into top of 1st dc. (18 dc, 6 ch 3 sp)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Join A with a sc in any BLO of 1st dc in 3 dc group

Round 4: (Working in BLO)
sc in next 2 dc,
* work V stitch (See Special Stitches) in skipped chain 2 space of RND 2, BLO sc in next 3 dc,
* repeat from * to * around;
join with a slip stitch in 1st sc. (18 sc, 6 V sts)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Join B with a slip stitch in any Chain 1 space of V stitch

Round 5: Chain 4 (Counts as dc and ch 1),
dc in same chain 1 space,
* FPdc around the next dc,
BLO dc in next 3 sc,
FPdc around next dc,
work V stitch (See Special Stitches) in chain 1 space of previous V stitch, *
repeat from * to * ;
join with slip stitch into 3rd chain of chain 4. (18 dc, 12 FPdc, 6 V sts)

Round 8: Chain 1 (See Notes),
work (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) into same corner space,
dc in each stitch of the next 21 stitches until next corner,
* work corner into next corner,
dc in each of the next 21 stitches until next corner,
repeat from * 2 more times;
join with a slip stitch into 1st dc. (21 BLO dc on each side = 84 BLO dc & 4 Corners)

join with a slip stitch in 1st dc. (16 dc, 25 BPdc = 100 BPdc, 4 ch 2 spaces)
