Size Hook: H (5mm), scissors and blunt needle
Abbreviations
Ch/chs = chain/chains
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
tr = treble crochet
Notes
Chain 1 at beginning of row does not count unless otherwise stated
Chain 2 at beginning of row counts as a hdc unless otherwise stated
A wave is worked over 8 sts as follows (sc, hdc, dc, tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc)
COLORS: A – Daffodil; B – Peacock; C – Pewter; D – Iced Aqua; E – White
Instructions
Working With C
Row 1: Chain 2 (See Notes),
hdc in same space, hdc in each stitch across and in each join of squares,
work 2 hdc in last corner space. (110 hdc)
Row 2: Chain 1(See Notes),
sc in same stitch, work (hdc, dc, tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc) over the next 7 stitches,
* work (sc, hdc, dc, tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc) over the next 8 stitches,
repeat from * across, ending with a dc in last stitch. (14 waves) Turn
Fasten off Color C and attach Color B
Row 3: Chain 2 (See Notes), sc in next two stitches,
* work (sc, hdc, dc, tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc) over next 8 stitches,
repeat from * across, ending with tr in last stitch. (14 waves) Turn
Rows 4-21: Repeat Rows 2 and 3
