Raspberry Coffee Mitts ~
Free Crochet Pattern
You may be wondering why I named these mitts Raspberry Coffee Mitts. Well it’s simple, I love coffee and chocolate. Most likely I was drinking a Raspberry White Chocolate Frappuccino when I decided to make them.

Level of Difficulty – Intermediate
Yarn – Loops & Threads Charisma # 5 Bulky, Black and Black Raspberry or any #5 Bulky yarn. Roughly 50 yards
Hook and Notions – Size Hook: L (8 mm) and K (6.5 mm)
Measurement – 4 inches in wide, 7 ½ inches long
Gauge – Not important
Abbreviations
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
BLO = back loop only
Special Stitch – Bead Stitch: Insert hook into indicated stitch, yarn over and pull through, (yarn over and pull through one loop on hook) twice, yarn over and pull through both loops on hook. When you work into the next stitch make sure the bobble is facing the right side.

CUFF INSTRUCTIONS
Make 2 Using L Hook
Chain 8 for Cuff
Row 1: Sc in the second chain from the hook and across. Turn (7 sc)
Rows 2-10: Chain 2, hdc in the blo and in each stitch across. (7 blo hdc)
Join the last row to the first row with a series of slip stitches.
MITT INSTRUCTIONS
(Using K Hook start working with Black Raspberry)
Round 1: Chain 1,
sc in the end of each row around;
join with a slip stitch in beginning single crochet. (20 sc)
Round 2: Chain 1,
work bead stitch in the same stitch as join, sc in next stitch,
* bead stitch in next stitch, sc in next stitch; repeat from * around;
join with a slip stitch to first bead stitch.
Change Color to black
Round 3: Chain 1,
sc in same stitch as join and in each stitch around;
join with a slip stitch to first sc.
Change Colors; Black Raspberry
Round 4: Chain 1, sc in same stitch as join,
* dc in next stitch, sc in next stitch, repeat around ending with a dc;
join with a slip stitch in first sc.
Change Color; Black
Round 5: Repeat Round 3.
Change Color; Black Raspberry
Round 6: Repeat Round 2
Change Color; Black
Round 7: Repeat Round 3
Change Color; Black Raspberry
Round 8: Chain 1, sc in same stitch as join,
dc in next stitch, sc in next stitch, chain 4, skip the next 3 stitches,
* dc in next stitch, sc in next stitch, repeat from * around;
join with a slip stitch in top of first sc.
Change color to black
Round 9: Chain 1, sc in first three stitches,
work 4 sc in chain 4 space, sc in each stitch around;
join with a slip stitch in top of firs sc.
Change color to black raspberry
Round 10: Repeat Round 2
Change color black
Round 11: Repeat Round 3
Fasten off and weave in ends.
