I made this RDH Marble Scarf to match my dad’s RDH Marble Beanie. With the cold weather he wears it everywhere he goes and is always getting lovely compliments.
Be sure to share this scarf with your fellow crafters!

BLDC = back loop double crochet
Ch = chain
Dc = double crochet
FLDC = front loop double crochet
FPDC = front post double crochet
Sc = single crochet
Note – Chain 2 counts as first stitch of each row.
FLDC (Front Loop Double Crochet): The front loop is the loop that is closest to you. To work in the front loop of a stitch, insert your hook underneath the front loop only and make the stitch as indicated.
BLDC (Back Loop Double Crochet): The back loop is the loop that is furthest away from you. To work in the back loop of a stitch, insert hook underneath the back loop only and make the stitch.
FPDC (Front Post Double Crochet): A post stitch is shorter than a normal stitch, you make the turning chain with one chain stitch less than the normal turning chain requires. Yarn over (yo) and insert your hook from front to back between the posts of the first and second double crochet of the row below, and then from back to front again between the posts of the second and third stitches. (The hook should now be positioned horizontally behind the double crochet that you’re working around.) Yarn over and draw the yarn around the post of the stitch. You now have 3 loops on the hook. Yarn over and draw the yarn through the 2 loops on the hook, twice. One front post double crochet (FP dc) is complete.
Row 1: Sc in the 2nd chain from the hook and in each chain across. Turn (22 sc)
Row 2: Chain 2, dc in each stitch across. Turn (22 dc)
Row 3: Chain 2, FPDC around each stitch across, hdc in the chain 2 of the previous row. Turn (22 sts)
Row 4: Chain 2, * FLDC in the next stitch, BLDC in the next stitch, * repeat from * to * across, ending with a dc in the chain 2 of the previous row. Turn (22 sts)
Rows 5-10: Repeat Row 2 (22 dc)
Rows 11–92: Repeat Rows 3 -10 until scarf measures 68-inches or the desired length. Turn (22 sts)
Row 93: Chain 1, sc in each stitch across. (22 sc)
