Round 2: Chain 1 (See Notes), hdc in same space as join, *hdc in each chain 1 space and dc around;* join with a slip stitch in the 1st hdc. (24 hdc)
Round 3: Chain 1 (See Notes), work 2 sc in same stitch, *chain 2, skip next stitch, work 2 sc in next hdc,* repeat from *to* around, ending with chain 2, join with a slip stitch in 1st sc. (24 sc, 12 ch 2 sps)
Round 4: Chain 1 (See Notes), dc in same stitch as join, dc in next stitch, *(working behind ROUND 3) work 2 tr in ROUND 2 (skipped hdc), dc in next 2 sc,* repeat from *to* around; join with a slip stitch in 1st dc. (24 dc, 24 tr)

Round 9: Chain 1 (See Notes), hdc in same stitch, hdc in next 6 dc, *work 3 hdc in the corner chain 2 space, hdc in each stitch across,* repeat from * around; join with a slip stitch in in top of 1st hdc. (128 hdc)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
