Hi Everyone! Welcome to Special Memories Blanket Crochet Along! I am so thankful to be starting this Mystery blanket with you today. Words cannot express how much it means to me to be crocheting this blanket with you and sharing special memories as we grow our blankets. Level of Difficulty Beginner Yarn Worsted weight #4 370 yds per color, Color A ~ BlueBell, Color B ~ White, & Color C ~ Daffodil Hook and Notions Size Hook: I (5 mm), scissors, stitch markers, and blunt needle Measurement 33” wide x 33“ long Gauge 7 sts + 5 rows = 2 inches Abbreviations Ch/chs = chain/chains Hdc = half double crochet FLO hdc = front loop only half double crochet BLO hdc = back loop only half double crochet  

Instructions

COLORS: Color A ~ BlueBell; Color B ~ White; Color C ~ Daffodil Working with Color A Chain 3, slip stitch into first chain to form a ring Row 1: Chain 3, sc into ring, chain 1, hdc into ring. Turn Row 2: Chain 3, sc into the chain 1 space, sc in next sc, (sc, ch 1, hdc) in chain 3 space. Turn Row 3: Chain 3, sc into chain 1 space, sc in each of the next 3 sc, (sc, ch 1, hdc) in chain 3 space. Turn Row 4: Chain 3, sc into chain 1 space, sc in each sc across, (sc, ch 1, hdc) in chain 3 space. Turn Row 5: Chain 3, sc into chain 1 space, * BLO hdc in next sc, FLO hdc in next stitch, * repeat from * to * across ending with (sc, ch 1, hdc) in chain 3 space. Turn Rows 6-9: Repeat Row 5 Fasten off Color A and attach Color B (22 sts, 2 ch 1 sps) Rows 10-13: Repeat Row 5 Fasten off Color B and attach Color C (30 sts, 2 ch 1 sps) Rows 14-15: Repeat Row 5 Fasten off Color C and attach Color A (34 sts, 2 ch 1 sps) Rows 16-24: Repeat Row 5 Fasten off Color A and attach Color B (52 sts, 2 ch 1 sps) Rows 25-29: Repeat Row 5 Fasten off Color B and attach Color C (62 sts, 2 ch 1 sps) Rows 30-32: Repeat Row 5 Fasten off Color C and attach Color A (68 sts, 2 ch 1 sps)
