Level of Difficulty – Intermediate
Yarn – Sugar’n Cream Cotton, Sunshine #4, 100% Cotton, 4.0 ozs/113 grams, Approx 200 yards/184 m (Color A) approximately 50 yards, and Over The Rainbow (Color B) approximately 20 yards.

Hook and Notions – Size Hook: H (5.0 mm)
Measurement – Laying flat width 6 inches, height 6 inches
Bottom Circumference 5 inches after round 6
Gauge – 6 stitches + 5 rows = 2 inches
Abbreviations
BLO = back loop only
Ch = chain
Dc = double crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Sc = single crochet
Tr = treble crochet
Notes – Start at bottom and work up. Chain 1 at beginning of rounds DOES NOT counts as a stitch throughout unless otherwise stated.
Bag Instructions
Chain 2
Round 1: Work 8 hdc in 2nd chain from hook; join with a slip stitch to 1st hdc. (8 hdc)
Round 2: Chain 1 (does not counts as a stitch), work 2 hdc in same stitch as join and each stitch around; join with slip stitch in top of 1st hdc. (16 hdc)
Round 3: Repeat Round 2 (32 hdc)
Round 4: Chain 1, hdc in same stitch as join and each stitch around; join with a slip stitch in 1st hdc. (32 hdc)
Round 5: Chain 1, work 2 hdc in same stitch as join, hdc next 7 stitches, * work 2 hdc next stitch, hdc next 7 stitches, * repeat from * to * around; join with slip stitch in 1st hdc (36 hdc)
Round 6: Chain 1, hdc in same stitch as join, and each stitch around; join with a slip stitch in 1st hdc (36 hdc)
See Notes for circle circumference. If your wine bottle has a larger circumference repeat round 6 then go to round 7.
Round 7 (working in Back Loop Only): Chain 1, hdc in same stitch as join and each stitch around; join with a slip stitch in 1st hdc. (36 hdc)
Round 8: Chain 1, hdc in same stitch as join and each stitch around; join with a slip stitch in 1st hdc. (36 hdc)
Round 9: Chain 1, dc in same stitch as join, dc in next stitch, chain 2, skip 2 stitches, * dc in next 2 stitches, chain 2, skip 2 stitches, * repeat from * to * around; join with a slip stitch in 1st dc. (18 dc, 9 ch 2 sps)
Drop Tan (Color A) attach Coral (Color B)
Round 10: Chain 1, hdc in same stitch as join, hdc in next stitch, tr in skipped 2 stitches 1 round down, * hdc in next 2 stitches, tr in skipped 2 stitches 1 round down, * repeat from * to * around; join with a slip stitch in 1st hdc. (18 hdc, 18 tr)
Drop Coral (Color B) pick up Tan (Color A)
Round 11: Chain 1, hdc in same stitch as join and each stitch around; join with a slip stitch in 1st hdc (36 hdc)
Rounds 12 – 14: Repeat Rounds 8 – 10 (maintain 36 stitches)
Using Color A
Round 15: Chain 1, hdc in same stitch as join and 2 stitches, chain 20, skip 12 stitches, hdc nxt 6 stitches, chain 20, skip 12 stitches, hdc last 3 stitches; join with slip stitch top of 1st hdc (12 hdc, 2 ch 20 spaces)
Fasten off Sunshine (Color A)
Using Color B
Round 16: Chain 1, hdc in same stitch and each stitch and chain around; join with a slip stitch in 1st hdc (52 hdc)
Fasten off and weave in ends
