TIFFANY SQUARE ~ CROCHET ALONG
REQUIREMENTS

Red Heart Soft, #4 worsted weight; color A (Sea Foam), B (Charcoal) & Color C (White), 20 yards (roughly)

Size Hook: I (5.5 mm), scissors and blunt needle

Ch/chs = chain/chains
Dc = double crochet
FPdc = front post double crochet
BPdc = back post double crochet
Sp = space
BEG CL = beginning cluster
Pattern Notes
Chain 1 at the beginning of the round does not count unless otherwise stated.
Chain 4 at the beginning of the round counts as a (dc, ch 1) unless otherwise stated.
Corner – work (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc)
Special Stitches
- BEG CL:
Make 3 CH, then yarn over insert hook into the ring;
yarn over and pull thru;
yarn over and pull thru first 2 loops ( 2 loops left on hook); yarn over hook; insert hook into ring;
yarn over and pull thru;
yarn over and pull thru first 2 loops (3 loops on hook left); yarn over and pull thru all 3 loops. - CL: Work 3DCtog (work 3 double crochet together
- BPDC – back post double crochet
Step 1: yarn over on hook.
Step 2: Insert hook into hole next to the post of the next stitch, on the “hook side” from back to front
Step 3: Bring the hook back to the back of the fabric around the post, to the hole farther from the hook.
Step 4: yarn over and draw through a loop, bringing it through both sides of the fabric. (3 loops on hook)
Step 5: yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook. (2 loops remaining on hook)
Step 6: yarn over and draw through remaining 2 loops on hook. - FPDC – front post double crochet
Insert your hook into the front of your work, behind the indicated stitch, and then through your work such that your hook is now at the front of your work again. Pull through final 2 loops on your hook.

Working With B
Ch 4, slip stitch to for a ring
Round 1: Ch 4 (See Notes), work (dc, ch 1) around 11 more times. (12 dc, 12 ch 1 spaces)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Join C with a Slip Stitch into 1st Chain 1 space
Round 2: Work BEG CL into ch sp, (work CL into next ch 1 sp; Ch 2) 12 times; join with a slip stitch in top of chain 3 (12 clusters, 12 ch 2 sp)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Join A
Round 3: Sc into the same space as join. ch 3, work * sc into chain 2 space, ch 3, * repeat 12 times; join with a slip stitch into 1st sc. (12 sc, 12 ch 3 sp)
Round 4: Slip Stitch into ch 3 space, ch 1 (doesn’t count), * work 4 dc into ch 3 space, * repeat 12 times; join with a Slip Stitch in top of first dc. (48 dc)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Join B with a sc in top of 1st dc of 4 dc group
Round 5: Ch 1, * sc into the first dc of a 4 dc group, ch 4, skip 2 dc, sc into next dc, FPDC over RND 3 sc, * repeat 12 times; join with a slip stitch in top of chain 2. (12 FPdc, 12 sc, 24 ch 2 sp)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Join D into any chain 4 space
Round 6: Ch 1, * work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into ch 4 space, ch 4, sc into the next ch 4 space, ch 5, sc into next ch 4 space, ch 4; * repeat from * to * 3 more times; join with a slip stitch into first dc. (8 ch 4 spaces, 4 ch 5 spaces, 4 corners)
Round 7: (Slip Stitch in the next 2 dc and in ch 2 space), ch 1 (doesn’t count), * work (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) into corner, dc into the next 3 dc, work 4 dc into next ch 4 space, dc into next sc, work 5 dc into ch, dc into next sc, work 4 dc into next ch 4 space, dc into next 3 dc;
repeat from * 3 more times; join with a slip stitch in the 1st dc. (25 dc on each side = 100 dc & 4 ch 2 sp)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Join A in any Chain 2 corner space
Round 8: Ch 1, * work corner, BPdc around each dc across, * repeat from * to * 3 more times; join with a slip stitch in 1st dc. (16 dc, 25 BPdc, 4 ch 2 spaces)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Join B in any Chain 2 corner space
Round 9: Ch 1, * work 3 dc in the corner ch 2 space, BPdc around each BPdc, * repeat around; join with a slip stitch in in top of 1st dc. (29 BPdc, 12 dc)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
