When we learned that our favorite social media person, Ally from Red Heart was getting married, all of the Red Heart Joy Creators joined forces to make something extraordinary for her. Ally married her sweetheart in May, so we created this Wedding Blanket, made of 12″ squares.

COLORS: A – Linen; B – Suede; C – VIP
Working with Color C
Chain 6, slip stitch to form a ring OR work a Magic Ring
Round 1: Chain 4 (See Notes), work 4 tr, *chain 3, work 5 tr,* repeat around 3 more times; join with a slip stitch in top of 1st tr. (20 tr) Fasten off and weave in ends. Join Color B with a sl st into any chain 3 space
Round 2: Sc in same chain space, *chain 4, dc in next 5 tr, chain 4, sc in chain 3 space,* 4 more times; join with a slip stitch into 1st sc. (5 sc, 20 dc, 8 ch 4 sps) Fasten off and weave in ends. Join Color A in any chain 3 space after 5th dc.
Round 3: Chain 3, work 4 dc in same chain 3 space, *chain 3, work 4 dc in next chain 3 space, chain 5, skip next 5 dc, work 4 dc in chain 3 space,* repeat around 4 more times; join with a slip stitch in top of 1st dc. (32 dc, 4 ch 3 sps, 4 ch 5 sps) Fasten off and weave in ends. Join Color A in any chain 3 space.
Round 4: Chain 3, work (3 dc, ch 2, 4 dc) in same chain 3 space, *dc in next 4 dc, tr in next 5 dc on Round 2, dc in next 4 dc, work Corner (See Notes) in next chain 3 space,* repeat from *to* around; join with a slip stitch in top of 1st dc. (20 tr, 64 dc, 4 ch 2 sps) Fasten off and weave in ends. Join Color B in any Corner

Round 5: Chain 3, work (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same chain space, *[chain 1, skip next dc, dc in next 3 dc] repeat across to chain 3 space, chain 1, work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc),* repeat from *to* around; join with a slip stitch in 1st dc. (84 dc, 24 ch 1 sps, 4 ch 2 sps) Fasten off and weave in ends. Join Color B in any Corner
Round 6: Chain 3, work (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into same stitch as join, (FIRST CORNER), *[dc in next 3 dc, tr in skipped stitch on Round 5] repeat across to chain 3 space, work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in chain 3 space, repeat from *to* around; join with a slip stitch into 1st dc. (108 dc, 24 tr, 4 ch 2 sps) Fasten off and weave in ends. Join Color C in any chain 2 Corner space
Round 7: Chain 3, work (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into same stitch as join, (FIRST CORNER), *[BLOdc in next 6 sts, FPtr around Round 6 tr, BLOdc in next 3 sts] repeat across 4 more times, BLOdc in next 6 sts, work Corner,* repeat from *to* 3 more times; join with a slip stitch into 1st dc. (48 BLOdc, 24 FPtr & 4 ch 2 sps) Fasten off and weave in ends. Join Color A in any chain 2 Corner space
Round 8: Chain 1 (doesn’t count), work 3 sc in same space, *sc in each stitch across, work 3 sc in chain 2 space,* repeat from *to* 3 more times; join with a slip stitch in 1st sc. (168 sc) Fasten off and weave in ends.
