The Wedding Blanket CAL When we learned that our favorite social media person, Ally from Red Heart was getting married, all of the Red Heart Joy Creators joined forces to make something extraordinary for her. Ally married her sweetheart in May, so we created this Wedding Blanket, made of 12″ squares.

Level of Difficulty Beginner/Intermediate Yarn Red Heart Chic Sheep, #4 Worsted; Color A (Linen), Color B (Suede), Color C (VIP), 20 yards (roughly) Hook and Notions Size Hook: I/9 (5.5 mm) (Affiliate Link), scissors, stitch markers and blunt needle Measurement 12 inches Gauge N/A Abbreviations Ch/chs = chain/chains Sc = single crochet Dc = double crochet Tr = treble crochet BLO = back loop only FPtr = front post treble crochet Sp(s) = space(s) BPdc = back post double crochet Blissfully Yours Square | Crochet Pattern | American Crochet @americancrochet.com #crochetpattern Notes Chain 3 at beginning of round counts as a dc unless otherwise stated. Chain 4 at beginning of round counts as a tr unless otherwise stated. Corner – work (4 dc, ch 2, 4 dc) Special Stitches  Back Loop Only (BLO):  Insert hook underneath the back loop only and make the indicated stitch in the pattern.

Instructions COLORS: A – Linen; B – Suede; C – VIP Working with Color C Chain 6, slip stitch to form a ring OR work a Magic Ring Round 1: Chain 4 (See Notes), work 4 tr, *chain 3, work 5 tr,* repeat around 3 more times; join with a slip stitch in top of 1st tr. (20 tr) Fasten off and weave in ends. Join Color B with a sl st into any chain 3 space Round 2: Sc in same chain space, *chain 4, dc in next 5 tr, chain 4, sc in chain 3 space,* 4 more times; join with a slip stitch into 1st sc. (5 sc, 20 dc, 8 ch 4 sps) Fasten off and weave in ends. Join Color A in any chain 3 space after 5th dc. Round 3: Chain 3, work 4 dc in same chain 3 space, *chain 3, work 4 dc in next chain 3 space, chain 5, skip next 5 dc, work 4 dc in chain 3 space,* repeat around 4 more times; join with a slip stitch in top of 1st dc.
