  • Hook Size: I/8 (5.50mm)
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle (to weave in ends)

 Instructions

Using Yarn A, Chain 4, slip stitch in first chain to join.

Round 1: Chain 3 (counts as tr), work 11 tr into ring, slip stitch in top of the beginning chain 3 (12 tr) Fasten Off

Using Yarn B:

Round 2: Chain 3 (counts as first dc and ch 1), * dc in next stitch, chain 1, * repeat from * to * around, slip stitch to the 2nd chain of beginning Chain 3.

Round 3: Slip Stitch into the chain 1space, chain 2, dc in same chain space, dc in the next stitch, work * 2 dc in next chain space, dc in next stitch, * repeat from * to * around, slip stitch in top of the beginning chain 2. (36 dc) Fasten Off

Using Yarn C:

Round 4: Chain 1 ( does not count as st), dc in same stitch, * chain 6, skip next 5 stitches, dc in next stitch, chain 3, skip next 2 stitches, dc in next stitch, * repeat from * to * around, slip stitch in top of first dc. (4 ch-6 sp, 4 ch-3 sp)

Round 5: Chain 1, in first chain 6 sp work (sc, hdc, dc, tr, ch 2, tr, dc, hdc, sc), work 4 hdc in next chain 3 space, * work (sc in ch 6 sp, hdc, dc, tr, ch 2, tr, dc, hdc, sc) in ch 6 space, work 4 hdc in next chain 3 space, * repeat from * to * around, slip stitch in to top of beginning chain 1. Fasten Off

Using Yarn B, join in any chain 2 space:

Round 6:  Chain 1(does not count as st), * work (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in chain 2 space, dc in each stitch till next chain 2 space, * repeat from * around, slip stitch in top of beginning chain 2. (64 dc; 16 dc on each side)

Round 7: Chain 1, dc in same space as join, dc in next stitch, *work (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in chain 2 space, dc in each stitch across till next chain 2 space, * repeat from * to * around, slip stitch in top of beginning chain 1. (80 dc; 20 dc on each side) (At this point you should measure 8”)

Round 8: Chain 1, tr in same space as join, tr in next 2 stitches, * work (2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr) in chain 2 space, tr in each stitch across till next chain 2 space, * repeat from * to * around, slip stitch in top of first tr crochet. (96 tr; 24 tr on each side) Fasten Off

Using Yarn A:

Round 9: Chain 1, tr in same space as join, tr in next 5 stitches, * work (2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr) in chain 2 space, tr in each stitch across till next chain 2 space, * repeat from * to * around, slip stitch in top of first tr crochet. (112 tr; 28 tr on each side) You should measure 12”

Fasten off & Weave in ends.
