I designed this Kids Big Boy Scarf for my nephew.  I had made him one when he was a toddler. Now that he is getting to be a big boy he wanted me to make him a “Big Boy” scarf.  As you can see he got just what he wanted. I hope you enjoy it!! Kids Big Boy Scarf | Free Crochet Pattern | American Crochet @americancrochet.com #freecrochetpattern Level of Difficulty – Beginner Yarn – Red Heart Hopscotch, Scooter; 210 yards Hook and Notions – Hook: I (5.5mm), scissors, blunt needle Measurements – 6 ½ -inches wide x 45-inches long Gauge – 6 dc + 4 rows = 2-inches Abbreviations Ch/chs = chain/chains Sc = single crochet Dc = double crochet Special Stitches FHDC – (Foundation Half Double Crochet) Chain 2, yarn over, insert hook into first chain (2nd from the hook), yarn over, pull up through the first loop on the hook (this is your first chain loop). With 3 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through 3. * Yarn over, insert your hook into the first chain loop, yarn over, pull up a loop (this is your second chain loop), yarn over, pull through 3. 2 fhdc completed. Repeat from * until you reach the desired number of fhdc.  

Instructions
