The S’mores Tote is full of texture and made for year-round use — and it’s Week 1 of the Stitch the Season: Golden Hour crochet-along! I love making totes and market bags for the farmers market or a trip to my local yarn store, and the best part is I can toss this one right in the wash whenever it needs it.

This crochet tote would also make a lovely gift for a fellow maker. A handmade tote is a wonderful reusable alternative to plastic bags — use it again and again, and make it in your favorite colors.

I love using cotton for these bags — it’s sturdy, durable, easy to wash, and it lasts for years.
