Angel is worked in one piece starting with head.
Chain 1 at beginning of rounds does not count as a stitch.
Chain 2 at beginning of rows counts as 1st hdc of row.

Angel Instructions
Head (worked in Rounds) Chain 2 Round 1: Work 6 hdc in 2nd chain from hook, join with a slip stitch in top of 1st hdc. (6 hdc) Round 2: Chain 1 (see pattern notes), work 2 hdc in same stitch and each stitch around, join with a slip stitch in top of 1st hdc. (12 hdc) Round 3: Chain 1, work 2 hdc in same stitch as join, work * hdc in next stitch, work 2 hdc in next stitch, * repeat from * to * around, join with a slip stitch in top of 1st hdc. (18 hdc) Wings and Body (Worked in Rows) Row 1: Chain 2 (see pattern notes), work hdc in the next 5 stitches. Turn (6 hdc) Row 2: Chain 2 and hdc in same stitch, work 2 hdc in each stitch across. Turn (12 hdc) Row 3: Chain 2 and hdc in same stitch, work 2 hdc in next 3 stitches, work hdc in next 4 stitches, work 2 hdc in next 4 stitchs. Turn (20 hdc) Row 4: Chain 2 and hdc in same stitch, work 2 hdc in next 4 stitches, work hdc in next 10 stitches, work 2 hdc in next 5 stitches. Turn (30 hdc) Row 5: (Working wing tip) Chain 5, sc in 2nd chain from hook and next 3chains, hdc in each stitch across, slip stitch to bottom of row 4, (Working wing tip) chain 5, sc in 2nd chain from hook and next 3 chains, slip stitch into last hdc of row 5and next 8 stitches. Row 6: Chain 2, work hdc in same stitch, work hdc in next 5 stitches, work 2 hdc next stitch, leave remaining stitches un-worked. Turn (9 hdc) Row 7: Chain 2, work hdc in same stitch, work 2 hdc in next 8 stitches. Turn (18 sts) Row 8: Chain 2, work hdc in same stitch, work hdc in each stitch to last stitch, work 2 hdc in last stitch. Turn (20 sts) Rows 9 – 10: Repeat Row 8 Row 11: Chain 2, hdc in each stitch across. Turn (24 hdc) Rows: 12 – 20: Repeat row 12 Row 21: Chain 1, work sc in same stitch as chain 1, * skip next stitch, work shell in next stitch, skip next stitch, sc in next stitch, * repeat from * to * across (6 shells, 7 sc) Fasten off and weave in ends
