Description

Romantic, airy, and effortlessly elegant — the Amber Rose Wrap is the spring accessory you’ll reach for again and again.

Romantic, airy, and effortlessly elegant — the Amber Rose Wrap is the spring accessory you’ll reach for again and again. Worked lengthwise in sock weight yarn, this open lace mesh wrap creates a beautifully delicate fabric that drapes gracefully over your shoulders. Once blocked, it measures a generous 12″ wide x 66″ long — perfect for layering, pinning with a favorite brooch, or gifting to someone special.

Originally designed for Blue Mule Fiber for their booth at the 2018 Vogue Knitting Live!, the Amber Rose Wrap made its debut on one of the biggest stages in the fiber arts world — and it’s been turning heads ever since.

This pattern is Week 1 of the Stitch the Season: Spring Awakening crochet-along.

7″ wide x 47″ long, Before blocking
12″ wide x 66″ long, Once blocked

Skill Level:
Adventurous Beginner: for crocheters who are ready to learn stitch combinations or some new skills. Basic crochet stitches including shells

Materials:
Sock weight (#1), 438 yards

To substitute, use a #1 sock weight yarn, preferably with a similar fiber content. Yarn choice significantly affects the finished look — a smooth, plied sock yarn will give you
clean, defined lace openings with beautiful drape, while a textured or fuzzy yarn will soften the lace effect and reduce stitch definition. For best results, choose a yarn
with good stitch memory and drape rather than one that is stiff or bulky. Always check your yardage

Hook:
US Size I (5.5 mm)

Stitches Used:
Basic crochet stitches including shells
