Blessed Fingerless Mitts – A Cozy Crochet Pattern

Learn how to crochet a pair of simple, functional fingerless mitts with my “Blessed Fingerless Mitts” pattern!

This pattern uses easy stitches with just a hint of texture to create mitts that work up quickly and keep your hands cozy while your fingers stay free. Perfect for:

Finished Size:

  • 4″ wide by 6″ long

Skill Level:
Intermediate

Yarn:
#4 worsted weight (approx. 100 yards total) — I used Caron Simply Soft in Color A (Charcoal Heather) and Color B (Dark Country Blue)

To substitute:
This pattern calls for worsted weight #4 yarn. When substituting, reach for a soft, warm worsted weight yarn with a little give — the cozier against the skin, the better.

Hook:
US Size H (5mm)

Gauge:
7 sts = 2″

Stitches Used:

  • Chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, extended single crochet, back loop only, and slip stitch
