Description

The Double Moss Dishcloth is a soft cotton make with a beautiful textured stitch — perfect for everyday dishes and a sweet handmade gift. Worked in washable cotton, it only gets better with use and works up fast enough to make a whole set.

I used WeCrochet Dishie in Bumblebee and Premier Home Cotton in Peach for the samples shown — soft, washable, and made for everyday use.

This pattern is Week 2 of the Stitch the Season: Golden Hour CAL.

#4 worsted cotton (WeCrochet Dishie or Premier Home Cotton)

To substitute:
This pattern calls for worsted weight (Size 4) cotton yarn. When substituting yarn please keep these tips in mind:

Why cotton is strongly recommended: Cotton yarn is the best choice for dishcloths because it is naturally absorbent, durable, and machine washable — making your finished dishcloths genuinely functional as well as beautiful. Cotton also blocks beautifully if you want a perfectly flat, crisp finish.
